James Cox

Service Delivery Manager

I joined Bespoke IT Solutions in 2018 from the Public Sector. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2014 with a Youth and Community Work BA (hons.) Before joining Bespoke IT Solutions, I worked for the Ministry of Defence, both as a Youth and Community Worker and leaving as a Policy Officer. This gave me the skills, knowledge and experience of stakeholder management, policy writing and project management.

Leaving the Civil Service was a huge jump however a jump that I’m glad I made. I very quickly realised how transferable my skills were from my previous career was to working here at Bespoke IT Solutions. After 10 months of working as Problem, Change & MIM Manager, I moved into the Service Delivery Manager role. My role is acting as a liaison between the customer and Bespoke IT Solutions. During my time at Bespoke IT Solutions, I have completed ITIL 4 Foundation and ITIL 4 – Drive Stakeholder Value training.

The Senior Management team have encouraged me to grow my skills and encourage development. I am currently developing my networking skills, becoming an active member in the local BNI – Farnborough Jets, this has boosted my confidence and is improving my public speaking. Farnborough Jets is a great place for Bespoke IT Solutions to be.
